I really enjoyed the workshop! All the instructions were really clear and easy to follow, and with all the materials provided, I felt so inspired to do quite a few pieces that I'm so happy with and eager to wear. This has opened a new creative path to experiment and get my crafty side out again. I would attend again just to keep experimenting and having fun. Thank you for the good time and the knowledge shared!
I really enjoyed learning how to make jewellery out of polymer clay from such a skilled artisan, in the workshop I attended. We learned several techniques and then applied them to the raw materials, with some beautiful results. Such fun creating with a lovely group of women and Vanessa was very helpful and encouraging! Great for gifting unique Christmas presents!
I found the workshop on Saturday to be delightful.
The set up is well organised and allows for the baking of the clay as well as adding the fixings etc. To start with, Vanessa walked us through how to condition the clay and how to mix colours. We moved on to several techniques for design, such as screen printing the clay and adding textures.
I was able to make a number of lovely pairs of earrings to take away. I would highly recommend this workshop to others.
Thank you so much for facilitating a super informative and fun workshop! As a blind person who was totally new to using polymer clay, I felt very welcome and supported, including being able to bring a support person along to assist me free of charge. I made watermelon earrings and brooches to fundraise for Palestinian liberation and had fun trying out a few of the flower and leaf moulds too. Highly recommended.
